I'm interested in astronomy education and the history of stellar evolution, especially how people came to understand the structure and nature of red giants.

Currently I've just finished revisions to the second edition of my astronomy text "Explorations: An Introduction to Astronomy." I'm presently working on story boards for additional animations to be put on a revised CD to accompany the text.

I have also been developing web based quizzes and tutorials (some with simple animations) to help students test their understanding of material.
