SPECTRUM LAB DEMONSTRATION
In this exercise you will see how the spectra of different light sources differ.
The figure shows a lab table and several light sources as well as a window through which the Sun is visible.
On the table you can see two tubes, one containing hydrogen, the other containing mercury. You can also see a standard incandescent light bulb.
Move the mouse cursor over the light source to see its spectrum.
When you have looked at each of the spectra, you can then take a short quizz that will test your understanding of the differences between the spectra.
