How much Math do I need to know to pass this Course?

This course is intended to provide you with a conceptual understanding of the principal constituents of the universe and how they relate to one another. Some of these ideas cannot be expressed without some accompanying mathematical derivations. This math is, however, no more complicated than simple algebra and the understanding of proportions. Understanding scientific notation (105=100,000) is essential. Supplementary handouts will be available for most mathematical topics.

What is the format of the quizzes and exams?

They will be in a format of multiple choices and essay questions. The difficulty level is comparable to that of the online practice quizzes and homework assignments.
